Many are familiar with Dmytro Ryzhak’s unique, ballpoint pen-drawn decks: the dark gothic Bloody Tears, the romanticFantasy Garden, and the modernCity LabyrinthTarot decks. Well, it’s time to introduce the author’s fourth work.
Rediscovered Classic Tarotis a reimagining of the Waite-Smith Tarot, both classic and contemporary! The deck’s characters are virtually identical to those of the classic, while the surrounding landscapes were created by the author from scratch.
It should be noted that the foundation of Dmytro’s work is landscapes. In his spare time, he enjoys going out into the countryside and sketching nature, panoramas, forests, and meadows. As a publisher, I wanted to see a modern and unusual variation on the theme of classic Tarot, and Dmytro wanted to showcase his landscape painting skills. Hence, the concept of Rediscovered Classic Tarot was born.
